Senior Platform Engineer

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will collaborate closely with your teammates on the Platform, as well as Product Managers and peers from feature teams. Together, you will tackle practical problems faced by our engineers and prioritize innovative solutions.

​

Your role will involve working with a range of technologies, including AWS, S3, nginx, Ansible, Docker, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Django, Celery, Redis, SQL, and Redshift. With your extensive experience in web technologies, you will bring valuable insights and expertise to the team.

​

Having previously worked on scaling challenges, you understand the importance of implementing best practices in scaling. Additionally, you have a strong testing philosophy and are skilled in writing different types of tests.

​

As a systems thinker, you have a holistic approach to problem-solving, considering the interactions and dependencies between various components. You also possess a pragmatic mindset, balancing practicality with theoretical considerations when making decisions.

Effective communication is a key aspect of this role. You are skilled at collaborating and presenting technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
