The Mission

Are you a dedicated gamer with a passion for ensuring flawless web applications? Then we have an incredible opportunity for you! Bigtime, a bold new game studio, is seeking a QA Web Application Tester to join our dream team. With veterans from renowned companies like Riot Games, Epic Games, and Blizzard, we're on a mission to revolutionize AAA entertainment for the 21st century.

As a QA Web Application Tester at Bigtime, your main responsibility will be refining our web applications through rigorous testing. You'll identify, record, and verify any issues found during the development cycle to ensure a seamless user experience. This full-time, remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the world, as long as you have a good internet connection.

On a typical day, you'll perform various types of testing, such as functional, balance, stability, and performance testing, on our online marketplace. You'll diligently document any issues you find, ensuring clear and concise reporting. Attention to detail is crucial as you execute test plans and create test cases for new features and systems. If there are any hard-to-reproduce issues, you'll track them down and identify the necessary steps. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in completing regression and verification testing on fixed issues. Collaboration is key, as you'll communicate and work closely with the QA team and the wider production team.

What do you need to succeed in this role? You should have at least 2 years of experience as a QA Web Application Tester and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Critical thinking is essential for analyzing all possible scenarios and determining the potential impact of any changes. Your strong attention to detail will help you identify issues that may not be obvious at first glance, and your ability to adapt and respond to changes will be invaluable. As a remote worker, you must be self-driven and able to stay productive and motivated in a remote work environment. And of course, a love for games is a must!

While not required, it would be advantageous to have experience in creating and executing web test automation scripts, testing large-scale web applications, and using issue tracking software like Jira. An understanding of the software development test cycle process is also beneficial. If you're an enthusiastic and energetic team player who thrives in a highly collaborative environment, you'll feel right at home with us. We also welcome experience working on a distributed team spanning multiple time zones.

At Bigtime, we offer fully remote work with the added perk of a yearly company offsite once travel becomes feasible. You'll have the opportunity to work with gaming veterans who've created titles with a total revenue of over $10 billion USD. We value work-life balance and provide flexible paid time off, along with local and national holidays based on your region. And not to mention, you'll be part of creating a new intellectual property with franchise potential!

If you're ready to level up your career and join our talented team, apply now! Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to shape the future of AAA entertainment.
