The Mission

Are you an expert in Quality Assurance (QA) and eager to lead efforts to enhance the speed and quality of delivery for the Toggl Track teams? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

As a Remote QA Architect at Toggl, you will have the chance to identify problem areas and implement innovative processes, tools, and methods to improve workflows and automation for our existing teams. This role is not about manually testing software, but about planning, strategizing, and mentoring our teams to optimize their productivity.

Your typical day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with engineering teams, leaders, and product managers to identify risks and quality issues. You will also work closely with engineering leaders to develop a comprehensive quality strategy and establish strong QA processes across multiple engineering teams. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation and integration of automated test solutions in the development process and ensure the sustainability and stability of our evolving product.

To excel in this role, we are looking for someone who shows ownership, has excellent problem-solving skills, and can strategize for the future scaling of our product and platform. Attention to detail, relevant experience in leading or managing QA efforts, and the ability to communicate QA concepts effectively are essential. Experience in building reliable automated test solutions for various applications and understanding of web technologies and modern CI/CD pipelines are also highly desired.

At Toggl, we value our global team of 100+ talented individuals working from over 40 countries. We hire globally, allowing you to work locally, whether it's in the heart of London, on a beach near São Paulo, or in a quiet village near Florence. Our values fuel our results, and we trust our people to deliver outcomes rather than measuring their work itself.

In addition to the exciting challenges and career growth opportunities, we offer a gross annual compensation of €73,000, with salary increases based on company and individual performance. Furthermore, we provide an array of awesome benefits, including 24 days of paid time off per year, in-person meetups for team-building (with expenses covered), paid sabbaticals, laptop reimbursement, health budget, and support for training and conferences.

If you are ready to make a significant impact, boost productivity, and shape the future of QA at Toggl, apply now! With the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world and the chance to collaborate with a diverse and talented team, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss. Join us on this exciting journey and help us build amazing products!
